Our team in Washington, D.C., won for Public Sector Campaign of the Year on behalf of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), for the “The More You Know, the Safer Your Money” campaign. We bested Fleishman-Hillard, Ketchum, CirclePoint and the California Department of Transportation and Infrastructure to take the win. Open to government departments and public-sector agencies, this award recognizes effectiveness in communicating and addressing issues related to a single public-interest topic. Betsy Stephenson and Leslie Arnold represented the team for the win.
Our colleagues in Atlanta won Best Use of Research and Measurement for their work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the campaign “A Well-Informed Mom – Educating Moms on the Signs of MRSA.” We took the top prize against Carmichael Lynch Spong, GolinHarris and The Red Consultancy. The award honors the effective use of research and evaluation in both setting goals and measuring success for a campaign. Jana Thomas and Demeika Thompson accepted the prize for the team.
CONGRATULATIONS to both teams, and congratulations Porter Novelli!
