Some of you know that we’ve been working on something new at Porter Novelli: PN View, an online community of smart people working on policy/politics who confidentially weigh in on topics of the day.
Results are in from the beta poll we ran in October. The survey finds that while it might be a polarized time, some entities in DC get higher marks of endearment from both Democrats and Republicans alike. The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Federal Reserve top that list of “winners.”
Other entities do not fare so well. Not surprisingly, President Obama and the U.S. Congress see a partisan divide on the feeling thermometer. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Health and Human Services (HHS) also see a split, with Democratic thought leaders reacting muchmore warmly to both than do their Republican peers.
Our November Survey is in the field now, so stay tuned for more results in the months ahead! Questions about PN View or ideas on how to make it stronger? Leave a comment and let us know.
